I wanted to show you a sample of a new screenplay im writing.
Its called "Ten Soldiers". Im hoping to film it here in my home town.
Its sort of my own remake of "Red Dawn".

EXT. AIRSTRIP - RUSSIA (NEW SOVIET EMPIRE) - DAY
Three Mi-24 GUNSHIPS take off and fly towards the horizon.
MONTAGE:
The Mi-24s fly past a column of T-72 tanks. Russian SOLDIERS march behind the armored column.
A BALLISTIC MISSILE sits in its silo, STEAM spewing from the exhausts.
The missile launches. A FIREY CLOUD blankets the launch site.
The missile leaves a SMOKE TRAIL as it dissapears through the clouds above.
EXT. NORTH AMERICAN AEROSPACE DEFENSE COMMAND (NORAD) - UNITED STATES - DAY
Intercontinental Ballistic missiles are launched from hidden silos.
The sky illuminates with bright FLASHES and giant smokey RINGS.
Then...
MUSHROOM CLOUDS.
MONTAGE:
The PRESIDENT is on TV.
EXT. CENTRAL AIR DEFENCE FORCE (CADF) - DAY
F-18 FIGHTERS are deployed.
EXT. MOUNTAINS - ALASKA - DAY
U.S. SOLDIERS march into view, followed by M1A1 Abrams and M3A3 Bradley tanks.
Mi-24s fly into view, launching ROCKETS at the column.
An Abrams and a Bradley EXPLODE, debris spreading everywhere.
The soldiers fire SMALL ARMS at the near by mountains.
TRACER BULLETS fly past the soldiers.
EXT. TOWN - NEVADA - DAY
The town is small. Desolate streets. No cars, nor people in sight.
INT. DAVID'S HOUSE
DAVID lays on the couch, watching TV. He changes the current channel to the NEWS.
David sits up, surprised.
Images of Russian soldiers burning American flags, then Parratroopers.
He LEAPS up and looks outside. He is relieved to see nothing but birds in he sky.
EXT. SCHOOL
STUDENTS leave or enter the building, with backpacks and school books.
INT. HISTORY CLASS
Students sit at their tables facing the TEACHER, who is teaching the class about American History.
Some kids secretly listen to their iPods, or pass notes.
DAVID draws a propaganda cartoon about the war in Iraq.
He looks to David.
David looks up, confused.
The class laughs.
He walks up to a student bobing his head. He picks up a wire connected to the student's iPod and disconnects it.
He pauses, then slowly moves towards the WINDOW. Students follow him.
EXT. SCHOOL
Parratroppers land in the football field and bring out AK series weapons.
TEACHERS exit the classrooms to confront the soldiers.
A soldier yells at the group in Russian.
The soldier fires an RPK-74 HMG at the group.
The teachers fall dead.
Another soldier brings out an RPG-7 and fires at the HISTORY CLASS.
A brilliant explosion ERRUPTS from inside.
Students SCRAMBLE throughout the school.
EXT. SCHOOL PARKING LOT
Everyone RUNS to their CARS. Soldiers BLAST the radiators with their AK-47s.
Explosions.
Gunfire.
Screaming.
Pure chaos.
David and ELLEN run towards the remains of a school bus.
ALEJANDRO quicly drives by in a PICK-UP TRUCK.
David and Ellen LEAP into the back.
Alejandro makes a sharp U-TURN.
MAX, RAMIREZ, and ARTHUR rush from the RUBBLE and get in the back.
PETER runs away from a car in FLAMES and hits a soldier on the head with a BAT.
He jumps into the passenger side of the truck.
Alejandro drives away, FULL SPEED.
Another STUDENT runs away and chases the truck.
The truck slows down.
David and Max try to help him up.
Then...
GUNFIRE.
BLOOD SPRAYS from the student onto the group.
He falls to the street dead.
RPGs whirr by, hitting near by buildings.
The firey chaos shrinks in the distance as they drive away.

BTW, its been my dream to make my own movie so please dont use this screenplay.
