Today I am currently salvaging a motor out of an air compressor. I plan to use that motor as a demonstration rotor for an autogyro I plan to build. I thought of calling it the Stingray Virtical Aviation Industries Tv-1 autogyro. Yup...already thought of a name. ;D

After the working small-scale model, Ill probably make countless full-scale prototypes. Some pilotless, until rated safe to actually test pilot with a real person.

As of this day, January 18, 2008, this project of the Tv-1 autogyro is hereby cancelled, due to lack of initial funds, workspace, and supplies.
